Stickers for your Knickers

Just in time for Christmas, the Sam Branton Quintet presents Pantsfers: Stickers for your Knickers(TM). Want to send a loved one some witty pants, but embarassed to ask the size or can't afford the shipping? This is the perfect gift solution- or equally an ideal way to transform your own jaded underwear.

In four designs: BO Quim, Naughty Balloon, magnifying glass and "Cute Dick, Faggit".

Instructions:
1. Take off your pants!
2. Place image face down on your pants.
3. Iron all over until the green parts become brown; don't forget the edges.
4. Let your pants cool down.
5. Peel off the Pantsfer carefully.
6. Put your pants back on!

Finger Puppets

Sam has been very busy recently making a set of Quintet character finger puppets.

We hope to have some for sale soon. In the meantime, How To Tell A Coot from a Moorhen: A Rhyming Primer is now finished and made its first public appearance at the Thought Bubble Small Press fair in Leeds last weekend.

We also have some copies of it and of Naughty Balloon at our friend James Chen-Wishart's stall in Oxford's Gloucester Green craft market, every Thursday.

Coming Soon

Dear Friends,

Not a brief while ago it was discussed among us the utmost shame that there was no mnemonic nor rhyme to tell a COOT from a MOORHEN. We are now pleased to announce that we have rectified this situation.

How To Tell A Coot From A Moorhen: A Rhyming Primer is our latest undertaking, to be published post-haste. This pamphlet, boasting colour illustrations from six artists, promises to forever end the ignominy of the confused waterfowl observer.

Yrs sincerely,

The Sam Branton Quintet

Short Stories

Last night we invented a new game, in the style of Spanking Yoda. Everyone makes an 8-page booklet and draws the first page of a story (words and pictures) on the inside front cover. The booklets are then passed around the circle and the next frame of the story is drawn by a new player. Each turn, only the previous page is visible. On the last turn, players add a title on the front page of the booklet based on the picture on the last page.

Here are some of the resulting stories (click to enlarge):
